Please attend the public hearing on Thursday 10/20/2016 at 6:30 PM at 1601 E Hazelton in Stockton. This hearing is to object to the Right-of-Way access permit needed to build the road to access the building site for the proposed Farm Labor Camp on Brittany Ln. We have a core committee of people working on the key issues regarding the road access and they will be presenting our objections at this hearing. After our committee members present our argument, any who wants to say something will have the opportunity do so. Although it is clear that a labor camp is the proposed use of the land, this hearing is only for the Right-of-Way access application. If we can stop the access to the lot, we can stop the project.
We have sent the 85 letters collected at our town hall meeting along with the petition signed by over 400 of our concerned neighbors to each of the Planning Commission members, to their supervisors, and to all of the members of the County Board of Supervisors. We have been told that they have also received over 100 letters and emails individually from you. Now we need to have a strong showing at this hearing. The committee does not want to post our arguments publicly, so if you have concerns or suggestions about what we are presenting, you may contact us to discuss it in private.
